Tommy Hilfiger Mumbai visit — Takes Mumbai by Style

Tommy Hilfiger, a label that is owned by PVH Corp. [NYSE: PVH], recently made a stop in Mumbai, India, to say the least! It was an unforgettable day filled with fashion, cultural exchange, and conversations that traversed continents. You couldn't have asked for a better display of Tommy Hilfiger's growing popularity in India, which is a hugely important market for fashion and lifestyle.

We started the day by visiting the TOMMY HILFIGER store located in Jio World Drive, which is located in Mumbai's upscale Bandra Kurla Complex. It was a very stylish venue that hosted a thought-provoking panel discussion. Mr. Hilfiger presented the panel with his co-fashionista, Sarah-Jane Dias - a creative dynamo from India - and Bollywood star/ model/philanthropist Manushi Chhillar.

Later that evening, the festivities continued at the splendid Taj Chambers in the Taj Mahal Palace Hotel, which has long been a luxury icon in Mumbai. Mr. Hilfiger hosted a private dinner party for a select guest list of India's leaders in culture. With the Gateway of India and the Arabian Sea as a brilliant backdrop, the room packed with creativity and star power was comprised of Bollywood personalities, music icons, media platforms, and fashion influencers. The guest list featured filmmaker Karan Johar, actors Sara Ali Khan, Ibrahim Ali Khan, and Aditya Roy Kapur, cricketer Shikhar Dhawan, and singer Guru Randhawa.
The evening was a spectacular celebration of style, glamour, and fresh ideas, infused with a big, local flavor, carrying the signature dare that the brand represents. The visit was representative of a cultural event, as well as an example of Tommy Hilfiger's long-lasting appeal across time and place, as they connect to the colorful Indian fashion and entertainment scene. Many attending commented on the brands ability to blend local style with global heritage, stating it was essentially a stylish homecoming.
