
Greater Noida, August 2026: The Trinity Golf Champions League (TGCL) 2026, presented by Kapil Dev, is set to return for its fourth season, bringing together an exciting mix of professional golfers, celebrity participants and accomplished amateurs for a distinctive team-based golfing championship. Scheduled from 31 August to 5 September 2026, the tournament will be hosted at the prestigious Jaypee Greens Golf Course in Greater Noida.
TGCL is the brainchild and passion project of Padma Shri and Padma Bhushan awardee Kapil Dev and Ateet Gaur, Founder and Managing Director of Trinity Golf India. With more than 20 years of experience spanning sports, retail and consumer businesses, including over a decade dedicated to golf, Gaur is a prominent figure in India’s golfing ecosystem. Before founding Trinity Golf India, Gaur held senior leadership positions with the Adidas Group and TaylorMade Golf, including serving as Director of Sales. A passionate advocate for the growth and development of golf in India, he is the founder and driving force behind the Trinity Golf Champions League (TGCL), a Ryder Cup-style team golf league that brings together professional and amateur golfers in a competitive and engaging format, with the vision of taking Indian golf to a larger global platform.

As Founder and Managing Director of Trinity Golf India, Gaur has played a pivotal role in strengthening the presence of leading international golf brands across the country. He has also built an extensive nationwide network connecting golf equipment dealers, golf courses, professionals and golfing communities. Through TGCL and his broader work in the sport, Gaur continues to champion greater participation, collaboration and innovation within Indian golf.

The fourth season will feature six teams representing different ownership groups and bringing together golfers with varied experiences and playing styles.

Among the participating teams, Wave Riders, the flagship team of Wave City, will return to the championship with a 20-member squad comprising professional, amateur and celebrity golfers. Led by owner Rajeev Gupta, the team will compete in the 2026 season alongside five other teams.
