At home, Bollywood films, Indian customs and Bharatanatyam lessons kept her grounded. She had the normal Californian upbringing, outdoors. Regular trips to Mumbai meant that India was never just some place of family history but a living part of her identity. Malvika learned to enjoy both East and West instead of choosing between them. That cultural duality has been the hallmark of her music ever since.

Malvika knew how to build communities online before she stepped into the recording studio. Building a loyal following, her fashion and lifestyle platform established her as a trusted digital creator.
