For the first time in Kashmir, here comes a state-of-the-art sports facility accessible to all. Founded in 2022 by national-level sportsmen Farid Singh and Viraj Singh, WHS Sports Hub offers top-notch infrastructure for sports. The facilities at WHS Sports Hub include FIFA-approved turf with two 5v5 pitches and one 7v7 pitch for players to enjoy football and box cricket. It also includes two ICC-approved cricket turf nets and pickleball courts. WHS Sports Hub is no less than a dream come true for any sports lover in the state.
WHS Sports Hub does not limit itself to just being a “Pay & Play” facility center; it has its own football academy and cricket academy for young and upcoming talent to provide them with significant opportunities and experience. In addition, it provides an opportunity to organize hassle-free events and tournaments with ease. Being the first in the valley open to the public and giving the youth an opportunity to book any sport on an hourly basis, it makes the facility one of its kind.
To promote sports and sportsmanship among youths, and with the pristine golf courses in Kashmir and the growing interest of youths in golf, WHS Sports Hub is ready with its annual golf tournament, WHS SPORTS HUB GOLF CUP 2024, following the Ryder Cup format, with Meher Atwal as the Tournament Director. They are introducing the WHS Sports Hub Golf Cup at the Royal Springs Golf Course, Srinagar (J&K). It is going to be the first ever golf team event in Jammu and Kashmir and will be played on May 25th and 26th, 2024. The WHS Sports Hub Golf Cup aims to be an annual golf team event played across the country.
The facilities at WHS Sports Hub are open from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. on weekdays and from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Sundays and public holidays. And apart from the above-mentioned features, they offer well-maintained and immaculate facilities such as changing rooms, washrooms, and resting areas for players; stadium lights to light up your evening footy scenes; and ample seating space for spectators and fellow teammates. Also, the team assures regular maintenance of the facility centers for the utmost utilization and convenience of the sportsmen.
