
MG Motor India’s Majestor arrives as a bold new flagship, combining a commanding road presence with premium comfort and strong diesel performance for buyers who want a full-size SUV experience.
Seen as a successor to the Gloster, it was initially showcased at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo and later displayed at the Auto Expo. The first impression of the MG Majestor left people curious about its complete look. Though its pricing has not yet been revealed, MG Motor India has confirmed pre-bookings with a token amount of Rs 41,000 across India. Official pricing will be announced in April 2026, and deliveries are expected to begin in May 2026.
MG Majestor Exterior
Known for its solid body and humongous rectangular grille, containing the Morris Garage logo on the upper middle side, it exudes a masculine look. The MG Majestor ticked all the boxes of the SUV, cementing its position in the premium segment. It is flanked by the vertically stacked 3-pod LED projector headlights with slim LED DRLs located right below the bonnet.

Moving on to the side view of the Majestor, which has a lot of similarity with the Gloster, it consists of blacked-out B- and C-pillars. Meanwhile, the rear has a huge windshield, an LED taillight connecting opposite sides of the fascia and the badge of “Morris Garage”.
MG Majestor Interior
This new reveal of the MG Motor India offers a premium look in the interior with a black and grey theme and leatherette seat upholstery. To add more convenience for the driver, it provides a 12-way power-adjustable seat (an 8-way power-adjustable passenger seat for the passenger), a 3-spoke steering wheel and a fully digital driver’s display.

Talking about the feature as a whole, it offers a 12.3-inch free-floating touchscreen, 12 JBL speakers, a panoramic sunroof, a triple-zone climate control system, 2 big central AC vents and dual wireless smartphone chargers. For long road travel, the massage and ventilated function ensures the comfort for both driver and passenger without compromising space.
Safety

To strengthen their ability in the safety segment, Majestor includes 6 airbags, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), a 360-degree camera, a tyre pressure monitoring system, and ADAS to mitigate any potential harm to both passengers and the driver.
Engine and speed

This 2-litre twin-turbo diesel delivers 215 PS and 478 Nm, offering strong low-end pull and effortless overtakes. The smooth 8-speed torque-converter automatic optimises performance and fuel economy, while selectable RWD or 4WD provides secure traction in varied conditions. Practical, refined and capable, the drivetrain package balances power, comfort and versatility for everyday driving and light-duty towing and confident highway cruising.
MG Majestor Price in India
Though it is not yet revealed, the expected price of the MG Majestor will be around Rs 38–50 lakh (ex-showroom). For now, they are offering a pre-booking facility at Rs 41,000, where deliveries would be made in May 2026, while the official price announcement will be in April 2026.
