Your mornings set the tone for the day. Can you walk us through your typical morning routine?
When I awaken, I begin my day with meditation, usually for 35 to 40 minutes. I never rely on an alarm unless an emergency demands it. The mind can be trained to wake up naturally according to needed timings, even for flights. This teaches discipline and harmony with the body’s inner clock. After meditation, I tune in to my breath by checking which nostril is active, then perform a gentle head-to-toe body scan.
Opening my eyes, I recite the mantra “Karagre Vasate Lakshmi, Karamadhye Saraswati, Karamoole tu Govinda, Prabhaate Karadarshanam” — a prayer invoking prosperity, wisdom, and divine blessings residing in the hands. I then pay homage to Mother Earth by touching the ground and expressing gratitude for her abundant gifts. This sacred ritual grounds me and sets a purposeful tone for my day ahead.

In your line of work as an astrologer and spiritual guide, how do you maintain balance between personal time and client interactions?
I work 16 to 17 hours daily, including all 365 days of the year. Despite this demanding schedule, with my family, I prioritise quality over quantity. Everyone in my household understands the importance of being creatively engaged and constructive in their pursuits. When we come together, it’s undistracted time — no phones, just presence. We connect fully, share, and converse, ensuring our relationship never feels fragmented despite our busy lives.
Astrology is deeply personal for many—what drew you to it, and how has your journey evolved?
Since the age of eight, I sensed a natural inclination to understand and read people’s energies. After my daughter was born, the realisation dawned that my life’s purpose is to help millions. Astrology came into my life as a destined path — a modern tool through which I could communicate timeless truths to the youth and beyond.
Each day continues to be a learning experience. With every chart and client interaction, I deepen my understanding, evolving alongside the energies I work with. My approach today is more about guidance than prediction — helping people navigate life’s complexities with awareness rather than fear.

What does a “typical” workday look like for you, and how do you stay mentally energised?
I work nearly 16 hours daily. I set alarms during the day as moments for a brief pause — even in the middle of a consultation, I close my eyes, pray for 30 seconds to a minute, and reconnect to my source. These mini meditation breaks rejuvenate me, keeping my energy and focus fresh throughout the demanding hours.
Your style is always impeccable — how would you describe your fashion aesthetic, and what influences it?
My fashion is simple yet elegant, deeply rooted in grace. The saree, to me, is timeless — a garment that encapsulates femininity, culture, and heritage. Wearing it is like carrying a legacy—from divine beings to apsaras, to the modern working woman. It connects my heart, mind, and emotions to my identity and the rich traditions of my country.

Do you have a go-to outfit or accessory that makes you feel empowered or centred during consultations or events? Any lucky charms you always carry?
My saree is my signature. It’s more than just attire — it feels like an extension of my soul, perfectly tailored to my being. I’ve worn sarees everywhere, even on a beach in Dubai, embracing their versatility and grace. Alongside, I wear a sacred thread with the inscription Ek Onkar on my wrist, plus a few crystals, a Ganesha charm, and a Lakshmi gold bracelet. These items are with me almost always, symbolising divine protection and connection. They remind me that I’m held and guided by a higher power.
What’s your approach to fitness — are there non-negotiable habits you swear by?
My fitness philosophy emphasises mindful nutrition. I consciously avoid refined sugar and flour as much as possible. While hectic travel sometimes limits my physical exercise, I compensate by controlling my diet and drinking ample hot water throughout the day. Consistency in these simple habits helps me maintain balance.

Do you follow any specific wellness or spiritual rituals that keep you aligned and focused?
I meditate twice daily — once immediately upon waking and again before sleeping. I also write daily affirmations and journal my experiences, which acts as a sacred dialogue with the divine. When I’m home, not travelling, I practice yoga for at least an hour and a half. Detoxification is an everyday ritual, not an occasional one, accomplished through drinking various infused waters like ajwain, jeera, cardamom, and fennel. These help me maintain internal clarity and vitality.
Who or what inspires you when it comes to living a life that’s both glamorous and grounded?
Hindu tradition beautifully integrates spirituality with joy, luxury, and happiness. Renunciation is not our path; balance is. I draw inspiration from our gods and goddesses, who embody the principle that one can enjoy life without indulgence or addiction. This harmony between pleasure and discipline defines the way I strive to live.
What’s one piece of advice you wish more people followed about aligning outer life with inner self?
Communication and honesty are vital. Speak your truth when the opportunity arises. Be honest with yourself about what you should or should not engage in. I don’t believe in compromises that dilute your essence. Everyone can lead a life that’s expressive and firm without aggression, but only if they commit to alignment between their inner values and outer actions.
